24/09/2024: We have never eaten here before and thought we would try, hopefully, something new. I'm always fairly skeptical when it comes to Italian restaurants, as many of these don't live up to my expectations for quality and often aren't authentic enough. My spouse and I had a starter, a main course and a dessert. Just a jug of water to share too, which by the way is an OK price, at DKK 20. The appetizer was tasty. Deep fried prawns, a small piece of bread, a nice garlic marinated salad, and sweet chilli sauce for dipping. Reasonably good starter. There was nothing to point fingers at. We got a pasta dish with lobster, prawns and caviar, and a generic lasagne. When it comes to ordering lasagne, I took a very big chance, as 95% of all the lasagnas that I have tasted in the past, from restaurants, as take away, always taste boring, old and sometimes really bad. The wait for the food was a bit on the long side, but as time went on, hopes were high as a long time might mean fresh and homemade.. Maybe? Stop it. When we got and tasted our food, we forgot all about the relatively long wait. Have NEVER.. as in NEVER ever had a lasagna from a restaurant or a take away place like this. Completely satisfactory! I was hugely impressed. Same with the seafood pasta dish. It was really tasty! When we got the dessert, which was tiramisu and pancakes with ice cream.. Yes, there is nothing to point fingers at. Everything was perfect. Great praise. Don't understand a lot of the bad and half bad reviews as our experience sounds like a completely different one.
