Very friendly service and a very welcoming restaurant. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. We ordered small nachos, which were more than enough for two people (both of us with hearty appetites). For my main course, I ordered a hamburger with fries and sautéed vegetables with pepper sauce, and I must say it was delicious. I would definitely recommend it.

Got a delicious steak, with pepper sauce and fries. Steaks were cooked medium rare as I requested, and it was juicy and with lots of flavor! Highly recommend this place! Especially for family and business dinners, as was the case here.

Now I'll just put it on the table, if you're going over here you have to try their wagyu dry aged or just their normal dry aged meat that's in the cupboard as you can see. They even have 100% Danish meat! 5 stars✨️. Top class service and maybe the best steaks in West Zealand! 😋🔥

I ordered a steak. The meat was excellent. It costed about 400 DKK. Mashed potatoes was included in the dish. I wanted this mashed potatoes replaced with fries. But that was not possible. I had to buy fries separately and then don't eat the mashed potatoes. To that price I would have expected it should be possible to replace the mashed potatoes. My guests each ordered a hamburger for 229 DKK. They weren't that happy about it compared to the price. One bottle of water costed 62 DKK.

I must unfortunately report that I was quite disappointed with my visit to Meatery. When I chose a burger for around 250kr, Potatoes and dip were an option for 50-75kr, so I chose just the burger. I thought that would be enough, considering the price. It wasn't. I got a very average burger. Both in size and taste. The steak itself was good enough, but the overall experience was disappointing. The price is 2.5 times higher than at the fast food chains, but it was far from 2.5 times the experience. I think I'll go somewhere else next time.

Paying 299,- for a lunch plate of spareribs is not okay in my book and that there is only this measly portion, that is a mystery to me. In addition, they were filled with inedible fat lumps, so the portion that could be eaten was even smaller. Having said that, the taste was as it should be. The staff was friendly and service minded. The decor is delicious and the room is nicely cooled on such a hot summer day like today. So it was tried and we will not come again.

02/03/2025: The food was top notch, but the waiters were a bit lethargic.... definitely worth a visit because the sushi is wildly delicious.

09/10/2025: Double bacon cheeseburger, good and saucy👍🏼 Hawaiian pizza nice distribution and amount of filling👍🏼 Fries; quite a small portion of a "large" French fries, but crispy. BUT! "Luxury Matador" was a sad experience. A bulge of 2-3cm at the edge is not what I would call half-baked, there was just as much edge on the crust of the Hawaiian pizza. In addition, it only tasted of tomato and bell pepper. The beef was dry and completely unseasoned. The bearnaise was either of such poor quality or in such a small amount that you could not taste it at all and almost not see it. The bottom was soaked in liquid (assuming it was from the mushrooms) and therefore chewy and rubbery. Really a shame. Furthermore, you buy and pay for 1.5l. Schweppes, but only receive 1.25l. (I assume it is an oversight that the quantity has not been corrected, but a rather unfortunate error when it is actually a shortage of 1/6 of the purchased product).
