Very good food, good Service nice location

What a fantastic meal. We had a lovely dinner here. Some of us took the 4 course menu, the vegetarian menu or the classic menu. All of the courses were exceptional, particularly the cold smoked salmon with microgreens and the Veal prepared two ways. The vegetarian course was also thoughtfully prepared and appreciated. Service was attentive but not overbearing and the ambiance was particularly well set for a relaxing dinner.

Super delicious food tip top staff, however the main course was a bit bombastic in its flavours. This made it a little disharmonious. But otherwise super place, great experience.

Fantastically good food from well-prepared ingredients. We got 3 courses for DKK 300 on a Saturday evening. Think it can be done. Sweet young waiters who knew what they were doing. Absolutely recommendable.

The food was top notch! But the atmosphere was unfortunately ruined by the fact that everyone in the restaurant was placed close together, even though there was otherwise plenty of space in the rest of the room. There were two of us and we could hardly talk to each other because of a large company sitting right next to us.

MellemRum is a cozy restaurant that immediately makes you feel at home with its warm atmosphere and friendly service. The young waiters make an effort to ensure that the food is well described, and they pay attention, are accommodating in their service and have a good sense of humor. We chose the 'Everyday happiness' menu, which lives up to its name. The menu is very reasonable in price and consists of many small dishes, as is modern nowadays, they were all delicious. The decor is simple but cosy. They have managed to create a welcoming atmosphere with relatively few resources, and it works really well. The acoustics are also worth mentioning – it was easy to hear both the muted 70s music and carry on a conversation without problems, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. Even on a rainy Thursday evening at the start of the summer holidays, the restaurant was well packed and it was clear that the other guests enjoyed their evening as much as we did. The space is definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a good and cozy dining experience.

Restaurant Mellerum in Århus C is the place if you like to eat many different cheeses in one serving. We visited the restaurant on 1 July. and had seen from home that we could get a serving of 10 cheeses from Arla Unika and we did not go in vain. The cheeses were perfectly matured, just as we could wish for, beautifully served on a large wooden platter with garnishes and various home-baked breads. We didn't leave hungry and with the fine service from the waiter Matilde, it all came together.....except for the coffee, which was thin and acidic. Incidentally, Matilde is also good at flambéing, as can be seen from the photo 💪 Worth a visit!
