Super charming area and place. Prices maybe a bit on the high side

A very pleasant experience. The service in particular was incredibly sharp and knew our needs almost before we did. Visited on May 7, 2026.

Moesgård Forest Mill is a beautiful and peaceful place with a lot of charm and history. The surroundings are stunning, with lush forest views that make it perfect for a relaxing visit or a quiet walk. The mill itself is well preserved and gives a great sense of the past. It’s a wonderful spot to unwind, take photos, and enjoy nature. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Aarhus area looking for a calm and scenic experience.

Cozy, beautiful surroundings, good service, delicious food

Fantastically charming and skilled staff make the visit an experience.

We had the most wonderful afternoon at Skovmøllen in the most beautiful sunny weather. We experienced no waiting time for a table when we wanted to sit outside. We ordered an Easter lunch, and the food was absolutely fantastic! Due to the good weather, it was full of guests. But despite the busyness, we got the best service from both Marcus and Freja We will be back soon🌞

I haven't been inside, but it's in a great location. Anyone cycling to or from Aarhus has to pass by here. So does anyone walking in the area. There's also parking nearby.

Fantastic staff, delicious food and service, beautifully presented and in the finest setting in the forest, and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back and have a party 🙌🏻

Really good food and nice atmosphere. However, we don't think the service lived up to this. No smile or welcome. The food came before the drinks and one young woman in particular seemed very annoyed that we were there. We were celebrating something important and were with family.
