It hurts to have to do this review, as Monk probably has the best BMO in Aarhus, but after coming many times before noon and finding that they have sold out of BMOs more than half the time, I have to give them 3 stars. I have stopped wanting to go there, as they are probably sold out anyway. It has happened as early as 10am. It is disappointing. Unfortunately.

Small shop, inside not so many tables, industrial chic. Very nice tables outside to enjoy the sunshine on good days. Service is friendly, sometimes a bit slow. Excellent coffee though and great pastries.

Super delicious and flavorful coffee. I was recommended their filter coffee and I would like to pass on that recommendation. An interesting and slightly acidic cup.

Super delicious coffee and friendly service. Unfortunately, they were already out of pastries by 1 p.m., so we would have liked to try something else. Hopefully next time 😊

03/09/2025: Great service, lovely 4 course very tasty menu. Can only be recommended.
28/08/2025: A super nice place with excellent food and service. Rustic and very tasty. Honest food where thought was put into the food and wine. Some of the best we've had in a long time. A place that's a little hard to find (in a backyard) but definitely worth the visit. We'll definitely be back?

Sunset Boulevard

07/12/2025: It's again, just fast food. Sunset has the best fries, but I personally don't like their apple cake milkshake. But wait, how expensive has it become. When Sushi ad libitum has become cheaper per person, it's getting too much. But maybe sunset is just more expensive in Aarhus.
17/10/2025: Ordered a sandwich with extra bacon and cheese. Funny enough, there was one slice of bacon in it, so where was the extra? Also, the sandwich was almost ice cold. (way too cold)
