Great little coffee spot. Best when the sun is shining and you can sit outside. Main issue is there’s usually only one person working. If three people come in close to each other, things move very slow.

Uninspiring filter coffee and refrigerated pastries. They use pastries from Berta and coffee from Nomad, both excellent producers in their own right. However it’s not appropriately used at Monk. It seems as though Monk prefers to focus on upcharging and the “vibe” rather than the actual products.

Super cozy cafe. You can sit on benches out front right next to a beautiful green area in front. DKK 176 for 2x large cappuccinos and 2 buns with delicious crunchy cheese. I thought it was a good price in relation to the quality of the coffee and the food.

28/09/2024: Their cake etc. is not something they bake themselves, but get it from a central office. Too bad. It looked hugely mass produced. Service was below average. I asked a little about the food and coffee, and they didn't seem too keen to tell or talk about the food, quite the opposite in fact. I wanted to sit and work for a bit, but ended up walking instead. There was just a bit of a weird vibe in there.

30/11/2024: Phenomenal sushi! A beautiful and sensational experience. Finally, a place where commercialism and desire for money do not shine through, here is instead, the place where passion and craftsmanship decide. We look forward to the next time.
23/11/2024: Freshly made food and kind people who manage the restaurant. The chief accidentally made a lot of sushi and bring it to our table for free. If you are looking for an authentic Japanese sushi then visit them. Highly recommended!
