Monk Aarhus

As the stars state, it was a “great” experience, wouldn’t say it was “exceptional” so no 5 stars!

Nice little cafe with excellent coffee

A place I discovered by chance via TikTok, it reflects the local standards and offers a typical Scandinavian breakfast for me. The best BMO I've ever had: super soft bread, aged cheese, and fresh strawberry jam. The service was fast and very attentive considering there was only one girl serving and making the coffees. They offer a variety of specialty coffees, which are definitely worth trying.

Whenever we're in Denmark, a visit here is a must. It's one of those special places you look forward to for ages. The coffee is among the best we've ever had – prepared with love and always incredibly delicious. The lemon cinnamon rolls are an absolute highlight and a must-try every time. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, the location is beautiful, and the team is always friendly. You can immediately tell that quality and passion are paramount here. For us, this café is much more than just a café – it's a staple of our trips to Denmark. We love coming back every time and wholeheartedly recommend it.

Really good coffee and super delicious rolls & pastries.

Quick coffee and bread with butter and cheese and tea with cake ;-)

Superb little coffee shop. The menu is very limited, but the quality is amazing. The "sandwich" (one of only 4 breakfast options) was superb. My wife said her granola and yoghurt was the best she'd had. The coffee and pastries were equally amazing. I'd come back to Aarhus just to eat here again.

Best experience of both Atmosphere, breakfast, coffee ..and not least the sweet smiling staff. It will be our regular Café here on Aarhus Ø ..
