Niels Bugges Kro hosted the wedding of our friends. Beautiful wedding location facing a large lake with excellent hiking routes. The room was very spacious, modern and clean.

If you are on the Hærvejsrut or close to Viborg you should visit Niels Bugges Kro. There are 3 different menus to choose from: 3, 5 or 7 courses. We chose the 5 course menu with snacks and bubbles. It was a wonderful mix of seasonal ingredients but fish, shellfish, pheasant, cheese and kefir. It was all well-balanced and flavorful. We had a fantastic evening and there was good service all the way. We did not choose the wine or juice menu but instead went to war in their beautiful wine list. The place is open Thursday-Saturday so plan your route accordingly.
