Perfect place in Nordby for a good lunch!

Paris steak completely dry-fried and almost crumbled. The side dishes were delicious enough. No one asked if the food was okay, so I think it's fair to write the review without first telling the waiter about the problem. Really a struggle to get back dry steak and thick bread, without a sharp knife.

This charming restaurant with a beautiful outdoor terrace is located in the center of picturesque Nordby. We received a friendly welcome and were given a nice table. We chose smoked salmon, Parisian beef with potatoes, and a gigantic strawberry dish. Everything was delicious and the service very attentive.

We have eaten here 8-9 times for lunch during the Easter and summer holidays 2025. Perfect every time. By far the best smørrebrød place on Nordsamsø.

Excellent restaurant where we enjoyed the fish of the day on the terrace, carefully prepared and delicious. The dish was complemented by a side of authentic island legumes and potatoes. A good selection of non-alcoholic craft beers. Excellent bread. Welcoming atmosphere, very friendly and accommodating staff. We highly recommend this place!

I don't usually eat fish, but I thought I'd be able to find something. My three companions were relatively satisfied with their meals. However, I wanted potatoes instead of shrimp with my dish. Expressing this wish turned into an unpleasant experience. While my request was granted and I only had to pay the regular price, I received just four tiny potatoes. I wasn't full, and for the price, it was rather annoying.

Was there on Friday, May 30, 2025, and had the most delicious starter = potato dish, and a fantastic main course = shooting star. Also a fantastic bottle of white wine = Johanneshof Reinish, Dialog. A really cozy place, which is definitely recommended. Good idea to book a table😉
