We have eaten here 8-9 times for lunch during the Easter and summer holidays 2025. Perfect every time. By far the best smørrebrød place on Nordsamsø.

Excellent restaurant where we enjoyed the fish of the day on the terrace, carefully prepared and delicious. The dish was complemented by a side of authentic island legumes and potatoes. A good selection of non-alcoholic craft beers. Excellent bread. Welcoming atmosphere, very friendly and accommodating staff. We highly recommend this place!

Jeg bestilte et stjerneskud med rabarbersaft. Det smagte vildt lækkert, høflig betjening og maden kom hurtigt. Kan varmt anbefales.

I don't like fish, but I thought I'd probably find something. My three companions were relatively satisfied with their meals. However, I wanted potatoes instead of shrimp with my dish. Expressing this request turned out to be an unpleasant experience. Although my request was granted and I "only" had to pay the regular price, I only got four small potatoes. I wasn't full, and for the price, it was a bit annoying.

Was there on Friday, May 30, 2025, and had the most delicious starter = potato dish, and a fantastic main course = shooting star. Also a fantastic bottle of white wine = Johanneshof Reinish, Dialog. A really cozy place, which is definitely recommended. Good idea to book a table😉

22/07/2025: Super cozy place and great staff. Beautiful view and lots of good seating. They know how to make people feel comfortable. The food is super delicious and well worth the price.
09/07/2025: really nice employees, but unfortunately they are a bit stingy with their ice cream scoops. Very small ice cream scoops for the price... We paid 35 kr for a scoop in a cup and the amount of ice cream was about the size of a small tablespoon.

Flinchs Hotel

31/07/2025: I was at Flinchs Hotel for four days/three nights in July. The staff were very attentive to the fact that the breakfast buffet was full, and cleaned up immediately when someone left a table. The breakfast buffet was nice, nothing lavish with many choices, but it was not necessary for me either. I had dinner there one evening, and the food was good. The room was clean, but I got the feeling of being in a summer house in the bathroom and not a hotel, which I was a little tired of, because I had booked a hotel stay and not a summer house stay. If you have a little difficulty walking, I would not recommend a room on the 1st floor because of the shape of the stairs, and there is no elevator. Otherwise, it is very central and close to the bus stop for the free summer bus.
16/07/2025: The hotel is worn out, but the room was nice and clean, although it smelled a bit like a basement. Not good enough for the price.
