09/07/2026: Super delicious food, just as you would expect from a classic grill bar. Super and prompt service! Good and cozy atmosphere❤️ Forgot to take a picture of the food, as it smelled and looked so good that I couldn't wait😋 Looking forward to the next time🥰
11/06/2026: Today it is the grill hut in Vinderup that will have tested their steak sandwich with gravy.
Arrived at 11.48 and immediately ordered in the very small grill bar. The house steak sandwich for DKK 85.-
The food was ready at 12.06 and at first glance looks appetizing and finally a place that serves plenty of gravy.
The bun is a standard bun that is nicely toasted and tastes as it should. Inside the steak sandwich we find an approx. 200 grams of steak, it is unfortunately taken out of the freezer and thrown on the frying pan, this unfortunately means that there is no frying crust and the steak is completely cooked through, now use fresh meat (it is not difficult) and fry to medium 55 degrees. The meat actually tastes ok although the seasoning could have taken a little more.
In addition, you will find roasted onions, raw onions and water lilies (pickled cucumbers) all prefabricated.
In addition, there is plenty of strong mustard in it, yes even too much I would say it scratches well. There is a piece of cheddar cheese 🧀 on top of the steak, the cheese tastes good, but I have not tried it in a steak sandwich before and now I think it does not belong here. In addition, there are quite a few bacon pieces in it which taste good.
The sauce and it is a sauce is nice to look at and it is hot and there is plenty of it, though. Unfortunately, it does not taste of much, so close to nothing at all, in addition, it was heated in a microwave. A bit of a shame about the taste because with a few means it could be really good, the consistency and quantity were there.
I am missing pickled beets, soft onions as well as remoulade and ketchup.
I would say that it is not a steak sandwich that makes you sad, but on the other hand, you would rather never be completely happy.
That means that in the burger bar segment it gets 3 stars and among all the 155 steak sandwiches I have eaten in the country over the last 2 years both at restaurants, cafés, cafeterias and burger bars it gets 2 stars. It can be eaten but never completely happy. But if you were willing to fry fresh steaks and make a delicious sauce it would save a lot. Thanks for the food.
