Just sublime. This is a special and magical place. The host is a natural storyteller and so welcoming. He offers wonderful coffee, tea and amazing cakes. Great sense of playfulness. Absolutely loved this - beautiful grounds and a haven for those looking for wonder in tiny things.

Hyggelige omgivelser til et Engelsk tebord. Værterne stod selv for serveringen og hyggen omkring gæsterne. Selv på en varm sommerdag kan stedet anbefales.

Nice place. Romantic, unique and relaxed. The scones and cake were just fine. Owner is something for himself. Conniving, arrogant and not service minded. His responses here to points of criticism paint a very good picture. But it also has its charm. Now I am prepared, and would like to come again. A new owner would probably inevitably lift the orangery to unprecedented heights.

The park and the monastery are really worth seeing. Very well maintained and beautifully laid out. The water lilies almost like Monet. But in my eyes the real star of the show is the Orangery. Everything is just right here! A seemingly random composition that comes together to form a fantastic whole. You can see expertise and an eye for loving detail. Just great! An incredibly friendly host, the most delicious French apple tart and good coffee round off the experience. Thank you!

A lovely, rainy Sunday experience. We explored a whimsical and beautiful adventure, ending with delicious buns and cake. The host was an experience in itself - very attentive and personable. We'll meet Again.

15/09/2024: I made a large order for Saturday morning with delivery. Delivery was perfect and on time. The pizzas were amazing - they were praised by everyone. So the very best recommendation from here
19/08/2024: The pizzas were quite nice, great price too, but we were looking for the pasta, which seems to be off of the menu for the past 2 years.

27/09/2024: Tonden is the best place in Denmark for everything you need for christmaspresents. Whisky, Gin, Rum, Wines, Champagnes, Port, Cognac, lots of local spirits and drinks, sweet, chocolate, fresh ground of lots of coffee, over 150 different kinds of fresh tea. Treats for everyone, sweets, marmelade, over 1000 differents of beer with Christmas. The store is always fulled up an Michael. Michelle, Taus and staff are always ready to serve and inform you about their lovely products in the store. Always a fre taste of what you like to buy. Perfect perfect perfect.
