Paradehuset - Orangeriet på Gisselfeld Faxe

My husband and I had a wonderful private breakfast (appointment made prior to visit) in this truly enchanting orangerie about an hour drive from Copenhagen. The sight of the decorations and the fragrant floral scent had me gasp upon setting foot inside. Stig was the most accommodating and delightful host, showing us around the garden and museum afterwards (as part of the garden tour we booked). Such memorable experience. This place holds afternoon tea as well (please check their calendar for opening dates). Not to be missed if you are in the area. I'd definitely love to visit again.
