Denmark's oldest Plantorama center, but you can't see or feel it. Great staff and good products.

We love shopping here, and visiting the Cafe and play area with our kids.
I would suggest a bit more shade for the sitting area on those long summer sunny days. You get all the rays and none of the breeze.

Unfortunately, there are mealybugs in quite a few of the houseplants. So we chose not to buy anything today. The employees have been informed. But it doesn't seem like they are fully aware of the extent. Other houseplants had common aphids on them.

Large and nice signage when you come as a customer, but miserable and inadequate when you have to go back to the checkout, then you are like in a labyrinth of corridors and flowers and there is very little opportunity to get help, as the staff is hidden somewhere and apparently does not belong in the different sections of the store. It has been there for a few years so the information and help should have been better.

Huge selection, but also huge. It takes way too long to find your way around.

Nice shop and with a lovely cafe where everyone can find something good.
Many small children due to the play area in connection with the cafe.

First time I ever visit Plantorama in Egå. My first impression was polite and reliable employees. In addition to the beautiful green outdoor exhibitions, and the forested idyllic area it is located in.
I was going to buy a pH meter that I want to use for food, but she explained to me that she would not recommend it since the one they sell is for soil. I thought that was respectfully done! So I avoided wasting stupid money. Thanks for the honesty.
I was also going to buy myself a thermometer. I find a wooden one (with glass in it) for a mere 15,-kr. which I think is cheap! I ask the young cashier about it but he has no idea about it.
When I go out I am surprised that the thermometer shows 21C despite it being 16 degrees outside! But I think it will just take time! I have 6km home on the bike, and on the way I check the thermometer and very mysteriously it still shows 21C, one hour later! It showed exactly the same inside the store, although I could feel it was a bit cooler.
At this point I think.. well what can you expect from a 15,-kr. thermometer! In addition to showing the temperature in ‘degrees’ (C) it also shows in ‘farhenheit’ (F) which shows 65. I search the internet for what 65F corresponds to in C, and the internet says 18.3 degrees! Then I was confirmed that that thermometer does not work, and it ended up in the bin as soon as I got home!
I had already opened it in the store because I wanted to see if it could be hung on the wall, and if there was something on the back of it to hang on a hook. 3 stars because you were honest about the pH meter, and when I asked if it could be hung on the wall they called for an employee, but by the time he arrived I had opened it. Good thing I returned one because I bought two to start with, and only wasted 15,-kr. !
The principle is, however, that I don't think it's right to sell something to the customer that doesn't work! No matter how cheap it is, because I couldn't use it for anything anyway! I actually didn't expect that from such a nice and tidy place like your store, and with honest and welcoming employees. Otherwise I would have returned the thermometer from the start. But after my purchase, I sat out on the grass and soaked up the sun and wondered why my phone said 16C and the thermometer said 21..
