Cozy bistro in Vesterbro with good food! Their burgers are among the best in Copenhagen. Good selection of beer and wine. Relaxed atmosphere perfect for a weekday evening. The staff is friendly and efficient. The prices are reasonable. Will definitely come back!

A gem of a restaurant. The food was excellent - with the starters edging it in terms of creativity and taste (but the mains and seasonal dessert were also delicious). Great wine collection, and even better to have some candid views from the staff as to what wines will actually pair well with the dishes. Also accommodated our infant daughter and made her feel part of the experience. Highly deserving of Michelin recognition.

What an amazing experience! Everything was perfect in Pondus. The food, the service and the atmosphere. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. The food was next level - the hand chopped tartare with kimchi was a perfect combination and a one I will not forget. 5/5, I definitely recommend it.

My wife and I ate here during our trip to Aarhus in May of this year. The food was excellent and the service attentive and informative. The prices were in line with other restaurants of the same caliber. Without a doubt, we would return when visiting the city again.

What a gem! We had the most delicious dinner and truly delightful experience. We had the lobster tacos to start followed by the grilled organic chicken from Gothenborg, with loke danish cheese, glazed carrot & carrot sauce and also the grilled miso glazed white fish with cavolo nero, and pickled rhubarb. We ordered the pommes frites with cheese & white garlic mayo to accompany our dishes and everything was outstanding. Our server Stine was knowledgeable, friendly and so very kind. She recommended the Greek white wine for my husband and the Nebbiolo red for me and both were perfect with our dishes. We ended our meal with a delicious shared dessert of a traditional Danish dish I can’t remember the name of. It had a cookie on the bottom and was covered with a cream, egg yolk custard with raspberry sorbet . It was the perfect finish. Cannot recommend this lovely little restaurant enough! It’s very small so reservations are a good idea. Worth every penny!

16/10/2026: A fantastic evening at MellemRum – DiningWeek at its best! We had the pleasure of visiting MellemRum in connection with DiningWeek, and it was an experience that deserves the warmest recommendations. From the first moment there was a wonderful atmosphere, delicious food and not least a waiter who made the evening very special. The menu was put together with great creativity and attention to detail. We started with pani puri with smoked crème fraîche and tapioca, followed by salted and smoked almonds and marinated olives with parsley and lemon. Small, delicate snacks that set expectations high. The starter with crab bisque on Danish shore crabs, served with cod foam, burnt leek oil and saltwort, was a real pleasure. An elegant dish with lots of flavour and fine nuances. The main course with tuna tartare, avocado cream, marinated apples and mild ginger sauce was fresh, well-balanced and really delicious. Both flavour and composition were thought out here. The main course with roast veal and tender veal breast, cauliflower puree, marinated cauliflower in tarragon and red wine sauce was a highlight. The meat was delicious, and the side dishes played beautifully with the sauce. A dish that was both refined and full of flavor. The dessert with crème brûlée, chocolate mousse and white chocolate was the perfect end to a lovely dinner. A sweet finale that put the finishing touch. But a fantastic restaurant experience is not just about the food. Our waiter also deserves special praise. The service was welcoming, attentive and professional, and we felt really welcome. It is clear when a waiter is passionate about his work and manages to make guests feel safe and comfortable. The good service lifted the whole experience and made the evening even more memorable. All in all, a wonderful DiningWeek experience with exciting gastronomy, beautiful flavor combinations and first-class service. MellemRum manages to create a dinner where both food and people are at the center. A restaurant we can highly recommend – and which we would love to visit again!

27/09/2026: Thank you for another wonderful evening at Slap Af. I have visited you many times over the years, and the hallmark is always good food, good portions at very reasonable prices, and incredibly friendly service. A big compliment to Frederikke, who really gave fantastic service tonight. We will happily come back :)
