The surroundings were a bit close and the acoustics not the best. But the food was insanely well composed, delicate and lovely. It was informal, but well thought out and delicious. Combined with wine that just played and an exceptionally sweet and service minded waiter. And then at a price most people can agree on. Warm recommendation.

Really good food at a fair price. Good and knowledgeable service. When a star smokes, it is due to a lack of proper non-alcoholic alternative to zero beer and sweet juice.

Restaurant Pondus was one of the better experiences I've had in Aarhus. The rimmed hake was deliciously balanced by fat and sour notes. The Jerusalem artichoke dish showcased what you can get in terms of flavors and textures from the same ingredient - very creative. I want to highlight the second one in particular - it was perfectly cooked! Super tender and juicy... and the sauce.... wow! The dessert was slightly overshadowed by the other dishes - it was as if the chef had run out of creativity and it was a bit boring, but not so bad that I will let it detract from the overall rating. The wine menu was ooookkkk, but nothing more than that either. Overall though, I would recommend this place!

Had such a lovely evening at restaurant Pondus a few weeks ago. We were served delicious food, and had some wonderful waiters. Definitely worth a visit.

Snacks and dessert were excellent with great taste, the fish was good but duck paled in taste, a shame. Really good service from the girls.
