Right next to the cathedral, probably best restaurant in Roskilder. There is inside and outside sitting, gets busy but the service is attentive and fast

I have been a regular customer at Rådhuskælderen for many years and can honestly say that it is one of the city's absolute best places to eat. Every time I step into the charming cellar rooms under the old town hall, I am greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is always smiling, present and professional, and you quickly feel like part of the family. The food has always been top-notch. It is a restaurant that you return to again and again, and that you are happy to recommend to both locals and visitors to Roskilde. Thank you for many good times, and I am already looking forward to my next visit! — A very satisfied regular customer

We went for lunch as a family. With a one-and-a-half-year-old. The staff's dedication, politeness, and empathy were sublime, exquisite. The tableware was from the Royal family, the food was superb, the desserts, the drinks, everything was superb, even the setting, with a wonderful sunny day. Thank you Raadhuskaelder. We'll definitely be back. A hug and take care.

15/10/2025: I went there spontaneously with my husband when it started raining and we ended up staying for a few hours because the atmosphere was so lovely and the service (thank you, Isabella!) so friendly that we decided to design and make our own earrings there. One of the two nicest cafés we visited in Roskilde.
14/10/2025: A super cozy experience at the Jewelry Café. I had the most wonderful experience at the jewelry café! The staff was so sweet, welcoming and helpful – they took the time to show different materials and techniques, so that you could really create your own unique piece of jewelry. The atmosphere was relaxed and creative, with cocoa with marshmallows and other delicious things and lots of inspiration everywhere. It was both fun and relaxing to sit and immerse yourself, and the result was a piece of jewelry. Perfect place for a friends' get-together, a bachelor party or just a creative moment for yourself, as well as spaciousness for people with walkers. I will definitely come again – highly recommended to everyone who loves creativity, quality and a good atmosphere 🌟
