Restaurant Amalfi Aarhus

Best Italian food I’ve found in Aarhus. The bruschetta is phenomenal. Try them all. Had meatball pasta one night, pepperoni pizza the next. Wow. All homemade ingredients including the pasta and sourdough pizza dough. Tried another restaurant, Grappa, and was not impressed. Left after appetizers and came back to Amalfi. Pleasant and friendly owner, good selection of wines. Excellent tiramisu. I’m a happy customer and will be back on my next visit to Aarhus.

The food tasted really good, I can recommend the caesar salad, really cheap compared to the quality and the service was top notch, I have never tried better service😊

Have several times had a lovely evening at Restaurant Amalfi. Nice atmosphere and personal service from the owner Ahmad, who is super professional and inquisitive, so you are guaranteed a good experience. Would 10/10 recommend and definitely come again!

Nice pizza, cozy local, reasonable prices. Very long wait for the food and the red wine was fridge cold. Constant draft from the door that did not close properly. Staff not particularly attentive.

What a fabulous place! We had a wonderful experience. The menu is spot on with a handful of choices in each category. We had a hard time deciding between pasta and pizza because they all sounded fabulous and not your typical run of the mill boring options either. We ended up with the pepperoni and tenderloin pizzas, with a sparkling limoncello cocktail with them. The crust is to die for! And so are the rest of the ingredients. The pizzas are served on a flat plate and with a proper knife to cut it. On a whim we decided to share a tiramisu for dessert, and what a treat that was. It was delicious and served very aesthetically in a wine glass. The service was wonderful, friendly, and attentive to our needs without being intrusive. The location is perfect on Vestergade and with a corner location nearly all the tables are next to late windows overlooking the pedestrian friendly street outside.

This was an excellent place for dinner. Great staff, delicious food & great wine. A total pleasure for an evening in Aarhus - would totally recommend !
