Super good pizza, but at that price it's not worth it, you have to pay 20 kr extra for a little arugula

Hey everyone, we went out for pizza again today. We regularly travel to Italy, but let me tell you, you don't need to go that far for pizza! The pizza at Don Juan in Ballen on Samsø is just as good as any pizza in Italy!! No wonder, since all the pizza chefs are from Italy. Friendly service, cold drinks, and always a spot for dogs – it couldn't be better. We're already looking forward to our next visit in May 2027!!

Had an absolute superb Italian pizza with ruccola, mozzarella and ham "from Parma" today. Fluffy and well componed. And not too large wich was nice. Recomend.

Great experience at Don Juan. We ordered 3 pizzas and a cannelloni, the food was nothing to write home about, everything tasted good at a slightly high price, but considering the popularity it might be fine. The tiramisu is also worth it if you're looking for something to finish with. There was quite a lot of noise in the restaurant and they could have invested in more noise reduction and an Italian atmosphere. It took us about 25 minutes to get the food to the table, but Don Juan was almost packed with customers and a takeaway queue, so it was understandable. I would probably think it was a shame to get a seat on the far right when you come in the door, because there was the long takeaway queue that I would find annoying to sit up against, so ask the staff if you can be allowed to sit at the other end of the restaurant. The toilet is quite nice, there was a urinal and a single toilet. Ordering is done in English, but they can understand a little Danish. They have umbrellas and blankets if you want to sit outside. Book a table if you don't want to wait. The food is good. Super good place.

We went out for pizza as a family. The service was friendly, and we sat outside – which was lovely. The pizza was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommended! 👍
