The restaurant is centrally located in Aarhus.
We had booked a table and were warmly welcomed.
The place is cozy and we got a table close to the kitchen and we could hear the kitchen activity - and the hood - most of the dinner.
The food was good and beautifully presented.
The portions were very large - in fact so large and filling that we had to cancel a dessert.
We bought menus - one with well-matched wine. The other with lovely juice.

I’m not the biggest food or wine expert, but ET makes me want to be one.
Every single visit (and there have been a few) has given me at least one culinary epiphany.
One time it was an onion soup, another time it was a white wine I loved so much I bought a bottle for myself (I’ve never ever bought a non-supermarket wine up to that time) and most recently an Asian inspired tuna tartar.
While each of these were absolutely amazing, the service - across the board - is absolutely flawless.
Go for the seasonal menu, let them pick a wine and take all the time you have to fully embrace this experience.
Oh yeah, I want their dining chairs too.
TLDR: Of all the restaurants I’ve tried in Denmark, ET has consistently been the best overall dining experience - both for lunch and dinner.

Excellent restaurant, worthy of its Michelin star. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert. The sauces were a particular highlight. All this with service that was both very friendly and absolutely impeccable. Thank you.

As always, a fantastic evening. Not cheap, but quality comes at a price. We were in the Lygtehuset, with our own waiter and gramophone. The temptations are in line with the wine wall at the end of the room. Fun, knowledgeable and attentive service. Even though the lighthouse is above the courtyard, you didn't feel overlooked in any way.

Delicious, delicious food and high-quality wine. Truly a taste experience of the very best. At the same time, there was a cozy, relaxed atmosphere and good service and attention, despite a full house on a Tuesday.
We also enjoyed Lars’ (the owner) anecdotes and delicious tastings.
We felt both (comfortably) seen and pampered.
We can highly recommend the restaurant.
