Today, it was a bit of a disappointing experience to visit Flammen in Aarhus. The buffet was not served properly. Starter, potatoes including fries, plates of various dressings, ketchup and remoulade bowls were empty. The restaurant was not even half full.

Got a really nice reception from a very smiling host. There were many guests, but we still got a lot of attention. There was a large selection in the bar itself. And lots of different meat. Very delicious. A good experience for 6 hungry sailors. 😜

Nice place, we have always been to Flammen often since they came to Aarhus. Unfortunately the price is very high these days, the staff is very friendly. There is a lot of noise with a lot of people there, really bad sound.

Moesgård Forest Mill

05/01/2026: lovely atmosphere and traditional danish food!
11/12/2025: We visited the forest mill with our 1 year old son, and it was all in all a great experience. We were greeted by friendly staff and great hospitality in a beautiful setting in the middle of nature. The food was super delicious, although a bit on the high side in terms of price, and not the largest portions.

24/01/2026: The best sushi place ive been to in aarhus. They bring your food in quickly, they accept walk-ins and the staff are very polite. Their philadelphia rolls are awesome, and so are their lambchops. A lot of skewer options are included in all you can eat and also dessert in the form of creme brulee and pudding with different sauces. I love the chocolate panna cotta and my wife discovered his love of avocado here.
28/12/2025: Concept with all you can eat sushi and snacks, as known from many other places. Sushi was really delicious, and the various starters were also good. They had a piece of lamb on the menu, which I have not seen in other similar places, and it was worth trying.
