Restaurant Flammen Roskilde

Have been to the flamen quite a few times. Had actually decided not to really come again, as I think the quality has dropped and there was a lack of anything new. After my last visit, I have to admit it was actually quite delicious. Lovely, tender and flavorful meat, delicious side dishes and great deals for families with children. Overall, a lovely experience that makes you want to come again. See you again 😀

Amazing food and meat, sadly a bit expensive. You will need to eat a lot to get a good value.

I had booked a table in advance and we just managed to get in at the agreed time, as there was a huge queue to get in. We were shown to our table... and then we were forgotten. Just barely half an hour passed before another waiter finally noticed that we were trying to make contact and sat at a completely empty table. The meat is still the same, and the 3 men behind the counter still peel off the same strip for every customer who comes up in the queue and wants meat. But no one at the table could see the 15 different types of meat on the grill. It seemed more like half. The salad & accessories bar was also a bit of a tame affair. But we were full, so the visit fulfilled a basic requirement. We have been there a few years ago, where the experience was not exactly what it looked like either. So we have actually always eaten at Ilden instead. Same concept just perfected so everything played. But when they unfortunately had to give up their lives after Corona, we tried to give Flammen one more try. But it will probably be a while before we do it again. But we may just have been unlucky, so others can see if things have improved. I hope so for both the chain and the customers. Thanks for the food.

Really good and large selection of food

Delicious salad bar and side dishes, and most of the meat, although cut incorrectly 😅 a few times. But the taste was ok.

Good food loss off different things to taste and the price was okay . The service was also fine.

All in all a very good experience for the price, the staff were good, polite and welcoming, we ate at the restaurant on a fully booked Friday, this was not noticeable at all as there are many half walls to keep the noise out, the food was good, the meat was fantastic, but it is always on the flame, if there is to be something negative, the bread department in the buffet, be more observant that customers use the tea towel, we saw many grab the whole bread when they cut a piece
