Cozy surroundings, good food and a well-mannered staff. Nice account of Struense and Daneskjold Samsø and the creation of the glassworks.

We are 4 adults for lunch. A nice restaurant, the service was attentive. The lunch tasted good and the chicken salad open sandwich was the best I have ever had in Denmark and I have many. Thr homemade rugbrød tasted great and wish it was a little toasted. We had the strawberry dessert and the koldskål pana cotto. The dessert looked good but was missing something. There was a lack of taste … not sure how to explain it. We discussed 3 or 4 stars and would give 3.5 but this is not possible

19/10/2024: Now if I have to write a little about why I have given the Grillen such great stars, it is simply because of their good mood and their servicing of people, but I can also come up with a little negative thing that I REALLY WAS VERY SURPRISED BY and that is that their coffee, which is served in a mug, costs DKK 20 and you can't see the price anywhere

14/08/2024: Really good pizza but long wait... quality takes time 😉 We have ordered pizza from there several times and they have always been good. I thought they were significantly better than the usual pizzas you get from "ordinary pizza shops"
10/08/2024: Okay pizza. a little too greasy for me. Pesto oil otherwise delicious raw material
