The atmosphere was good and the staff were very friendly, so I was able to have a comfortable and enjoyable meal. The white asparagus and shrimp that came out first were delicious and went well with the sauce that didn't match. After eating the first dish, I waited quite a while for the next main dish to come out. The dry-aged rib eye steak was well-cooked, soft, and delicious. The sour onion garnish on top of the steak was also excellent. However, the French fries were fried for too long or the condition of the frying oil was a bit questionable and a little disappointing. (The French fries sauce was incredibly delicious.) The last dessert that came out was sweet sugar cookies with sour jelly and sweet vanilla ice cream, which felt good because it finished off the oily mouth cleanly.

Amazing restaurant with excellent service. I came here with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved this place, very special for a romantic dinner.

What an experience! First of all, staff were very friendly and provided us such a nice experience, shoutout to the waitress who does not speak danish, he was really kind! Food was delicious, I had the 5 course menu, it was flawless, the sour cream with waffle dish, what a combination! kudos to the chef! Tartar was so delicious as well. Place is very cozy and fancy, location is perfect, close to the river. Menu in English is available.

My 85-year-old grandmother had never tasted lobster before. So I wanted to give her this experience as a Christmas present. I contacted restaurant Ja and asked if they could help and the answer lived up to the restaurant's name. Yes! When the day came and we were to be guests, we were greeted by a well-laid table, where an exquisite champagne was ready, and lobster was prepared 3 ways. Although they were not on the menu, one of the owners had arranged for 3 lobsters to be picked up from the Limfjord. Because we should have Danish not Canadian! They wanted to give us just the right experience. And exactly that is repeated everywhere in the restaurant. Nice, bright and well-furnished premises, welcoming and attentive staff, fantastic food, good wine list and at a very affordable price. Honest high quality in West Jutland humility.

Fantastic and complete. One of the most competent waiters I have met on my restaurant visits. Complete food, with few "aber dabei" which is a matter of taste. All in all, a great experience both in terms of food and service. Definitely a HUGE recommendation.
