A bad experience. Maybe an unlucky day? The dishes seemed uninspired, the fish (which should probably be sitting in the cupboard at a fish restaurant) was overcooked, dry and almost chewy - the sauces were ok. Had expected more

Absolutely amazing experience at Pihlkjær Restaurant! The menu of the day was 100% in the cupboard, and the employees provide the absolute best service with a smile and personality. Good guidance on wine selection and a nice option for consideration of allergens, when notified when booking. Definitely recommended - we will definitely return!

06/12/2025: I have rarely been so well received at a restaurant. Asger Langeskov in particular was incredibly empathetic and funny throughout the evening. We felt super safe and informed. The way he presented the food was absolutely exceptional! He definitely deserves some kind of pay raise! Thank you so much for a fantastic evening Asger and the rest of the restaurant 🙌😋 We will definitely be back when we come to Aarhus this summer.
06/12/2025: We had a fantastic experience at Elle Belle! Food (chef’s menu) was excellent and service was top quality. Very cozy atmosphere too.
