Restaurant Spyd Silkeborg

Have had from here several times. Would recommend their chicken kebab roll from a skewer. In the picture we had Beythi Kebab. Wasn't impressed. It tasted very gamey and a bit like lamb bolognese with bread, if I had to describe it. Under the bread in the picture were skewers with lamb, veal, kofta and chicken. Tbh they taste very similar besides the chicken. The side dishes are nothing to shout hooray about. But a bit expensive considering everything. But delicious food.

We were at a nice restaurant in town tonight, and it was a wonderful experience. I had grilled entrecôte with red wine sauce, mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables – the meat was perfectly medium-rare, the sauce deep and aromatic, and the accompaniments spot on. My companion chose monkfish with mussel sauce and puree – the fish juicy, fresh and incredibly tasty. We started with a small starter of smoked salmon and dill cream – light and elegant. The wine matched the food perfectly, and the service was warm, attentive and professional without being intrusive. All in all, an evening meal with lots of flavour, cosiness and good quality. Will definitely be back! 🍷✨

I had a really great experience here. The food was very nice, and everything was prepared quickly. The meat tasted excellent and was cooked perfectly, and I really appreciated the wide variety of side dishes available. There are plenty of seating options, so finding a place to sit wasn’t an issue. The only small downside was that it was a bit cold inside, but aside from that, everything was spot on. Overall, I can confidently say this is the best Turkish food in Jutland.
