Restaurant Støvlen Syddjurs

22/12/2025: We had a really good experience at Restaurant Kjøbstaden in Ebeltoft. We hadn't expected it to be a particularly child-friendly restaurant, but we were pleasantly surprised. The table was covered with paper that covered the entire tabletop, and in the middle was a glass with crayons. It gave the kids something to enjoy themselves with – and it was really appreciated. The food was really good, with an exciting and well-balanced menu, while there were also the classic children's dishes. Something for everyone, without it getting boring. What really made an impression was the service: About six minutes after we left, we were called by the waiter, who had found a small piece of LEGO on the floor from our son's figure. Most people would have probably just thrown it away – but in the midst of the hustle and bustle they took the time to contact us. It's really good style. Highly recommended – both for the food, the atmosphere and the extraordinary service.

22/12/2025: The French onion soup was the highlight of the evening. The main course was Coq au vin and it was completely tasteless. The dessert was creme Brulee with vanilla ice cream and it was so-so.
