Run-down surroundings. Fantastic view of the fjord and the farmstead

The restaurant has a very nice and relaxed atmosphere and a very nice view. We ordered each 2 smørrebrød and all of them tasted delicious. They are also quite big so that was more than enough for lunch. Very recommended place.

Super food with fish etc. of really high quality, good space between the tables and high service. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

Food : we took 4 dishes menu ….. They offer 2 small appetizers , it is wonderful taste and fired fish served warm taste so fresh. Starter — cheese cream with fresh fish mixing + waffle which is good match for the waffle plus cheese foam. If you eat the cheese & fish maxing alone would be too salty. 2nd dishes is fish again BUT the sauces is way too salty….. Main course : fish — a bit over done and sauces also very salty and I can even eat a big piece of salt ? 😅😅 Lamb is good but a bit too much fat Dessert : it taste great but too many pcs of rhubarb which not match the taste at all, better put 3-4 pcs max. Wine matching selection is ok but red wine not air enough before they serve 😮‍💨😮‍💨 Service is excellent and staffs try to explain all. Big smile always too ! Nice view, cozy place Price vs quality of food, I recommend not to choose their wine matching offer, view is good

Vi har i flere omgange besøgt Restaurant Vigen og stedet skuffer aldrig. Senest fejrede vi min kones fødselsdag med hele familien. Vi fik restaurantens 4-retters menu og alle retter smagte himmelsk. Betjeningen er i top og udsigtens fra vores runde 8-mands bord var magisk. Vi kommer uden tvivl tilbage næste gang en mærkedag skal fejres.

Just celebrated my wife's birthday at Restaurant Vigen. We and our guests were very, very satisfied with both the food, service and atmosphere in the restaurant. We will definitely come again the next time we have something to celebrate!

Formidable smørrebrød in quiet surroundings. Restaurant Vigen is a top class lunch restaurant. Don't be fooled by the unsightly exterior and the location right next to Roskilde Camping. Inside you get an exclusive feeling with plenty of space between the tables and a fantastic view of the fjord and Roskilde. We had smørrebrød and all three variants (fish fillet, tartar and roast beef) really set the bar high both visually and in terms of taste. Dessert (brownies and vanilla ice cream) and cheese were also good, where only the cheese pales a little compared to the other dishes. The price is high, but food, service and atmosphere follow and Restaurant Vigen fully deserves five stars. We will come again! Visited on 16/3-25.
