10/03/2024: Formidable, nothing less. The food was well thought out and sophisticated, but with a restraint that means that everyone would be able to find the flavors pleasant and delicate. The dishes were perfectly balanced with the wine, and the professional and cordial service of this evening's host Sidsel, made it a relaxing and homely feeling to enjoy the evening. A thoroughly fantastic experience in the small cozy and well-decorated and inviting restaurant. Nice room and details for the guests such as separation with curtains, small wardrobe and nice toilets. Large table (13 dishes) was chosen from the menu (see their website). Everything is predetermined and you just put yourself in the expert hands of the kitchen. It's Skanderborg when it's best for this "measly" experience DKK 995 per person. everything incl. and NOTHING is missing. The warmest recommendations from here.

16/02/2024: The food was tasty and well prepared, but... 3 servings of dill mayo, dill cream and dill chiffon accompanied by flower with thyme, butter with thyme and mushroom soup with thyme makes it a bit difficult to describe flavors other than dill and thyme. When we finally got something else, the taste of beetroot took over in the form of beetroot sauce, beetroot crudite and beetroot sorbet. In general, the 13 servings lacked variety in taste and expression. The wine menu was tasty and adapted and well balanced in relation to the quantity. There was generally WAY too little food, but copious amounts of alcohol. The service was nice but relatively ignorant. We leave the place sailing drunk, but unfortunately still hungry
