We had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Royal for a couple of nights, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The hotel is located in an elegant and charming neighborhood, making it both visually appealing and easy to access. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was seamless, and we were immediately impressed by the exceptional hospitality of the staff. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, offering assistance with anything we needed and providing thoughtful recommendations to enhance our stay. Their genuine warmth and attention to detail made us feel truly valued as guests. Our room, while not particularly spacious, was impeccably clean and thoughtfully appointed to maximize comfort. The high standard of housekeeping was evident throughout our stay, contributing to an overall sense of relaxation and ease. In summary, our experience at Hotel Royal was thoroughly enjoyable, and we would not hesitate to return on a future visit. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and a prime location makes this hotel a wonderful choice.

If you are looking for a hotel with a cozy and "old-fashioned" atmosphere in a central location in the heart of Aarhus this is your destination. Do yourself a favor and book an extra good room - it's worth every penny

We felt very welcome and the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The breakfast was terrific. The room was small and with a few crazy details. The bath was flooded and the sink stopped. The view sad with dueling on the window.

Really good hotel experience. Incredibly service-minded and friendly staff - also in the restaurant. Perfect location in Aarhus. Nice atmosphere and nice decoration of the walls. The room was neat and completely unembarrassed by noise (facing the courtyard). The pavilion in the yard is cozy and neat with a fantastic chandelier. Can absolutely be recommended for a weekend or conference in the city.

This hotel is something very special. The hotel is located right in the heart of Aarhus and exudes history. Very nice building - completely newly renovated - and with very nice rooms. The breakfast is absolutely top class.

Fantastic location in the middle of Aarhus right next to the Cathedral. Very friendly staff. Great decor both in the lobby and in the rooms. Cozy with wine hour, where the hotel offers a glass of bubbly between 4-5pm. Good atmosphere in the bar. Unfortunately, it was very cold in the restaurant in the morning in December.

Amazing hotel in the heart of Aarhus. Fully refurbished rooms to an exquisite standard. The breakfast room is breathtaking and the food excellent. But what most stands out is the wonderful hospitality, especially from Marie Sofie. Marie’s professionalism, kindness and going the extra mile has made the stay a true pleasure. From her tips on where to have dinner to making sure we had everything to make our stay comfortable (fresh milk for tea for instance). I travel a lot for work, and have found this high standard of hospitality only in a few places. Thank you again Marie and Hotel Royal.

Was very pleasantly surprised by our stay at Hotel Royal, the room was spacious and neatly decorated, with the bathroom having recently been upgrade to a much higher standard than the photos of the old bathrooms displayed on the website. The hotel is clearly in the process of being updated this however caused no disturbance to our stay.
