Afternoon coffee with much more than we could drink. It was incredibly delicious!
Fantastic friendly service and beautiful surroundings.
This is my second time here and I can especially recommend the hot cocoa. We were offered it the first time and it tasted wonderful.

The hotel is nice, the service is good, but what is a drag is the extremely high parking fee.. 650 DKK. Per. Started day. That is, if you arrive at 3 pm on Friday and leave at 11 am on Saturday, you have to pay for 2 full days, i.e. 1300 DKK. In parking.. it is almost the same price as the rooms.

First visit to Aarhus and we are only happy to have chosen Hotel Royal. Definitely where we will come back for our next visit!
It is located close to the promenade/pedestrian street, places to eat for dinner or a late night snack. It is generally centrally located.
The staff was service-minded and helpful from start to finish. Everything from tips to good places to eat, experiences etc.
The hotel is modern and stylishly decorated with memories from the historical era. It is really clean and wonderfully spacious. You can see they have modernized it to today's design but still kept the important values from the hotel's origins.

I was at the Hotel Royal on Feb 23 and left a small personal item behind. I notified the hotel that morning, and they arranged for a lost and found service to ship it back to me. I received my item on March 2nd, all the way in the United States.
I cannot say enough positive things about the Hotel Royal and their high level of service. I am very appreciative to all the staff for their help. I'd recommend them to anyone just based off this experience, however their location and room quality are two other big selling points.
I also very much appreciated how easy it was to connect to wifi and stream and cast content to my TV.

Beautiful and elegant hotel in the middle of Aarhus. Super friendly at the reception. Good detail are historical paintings around the hotel. Stayed in spacious junior suite in 2018. Have also tried other room recently. All good. Note, parking is a challenge, however navitas can be used.
