I have never had so many shrimps at a Stjerneskut and then a good glass of local beer! Bravo!

The food was good - especially the view

I had a hot smoked salmon with salad and it was really delicious. The salad was a bit on the dry side and there was a lot of cabbage, but otherwise it tasted great.

We can definitely recommend this restaurant; it's not a special offer, but we can't complain about the food. The wait times are unfortunately true, as there's apparently a staff shortage here as well. It's the same as in Germany and elsewhere. The government's coronavirus embarrassment has left huge gaps in the restaurant industry, especially. What strikes us, however, are many reviews complaining about unpleasant smells in the harbor area, something we've never seen before! People also often complain about the food without posting a picture; instead, they post pictures of the restaurant that can be copied online... We're getting the impression that there are a lot of fake reviews here. It would be nice if Google could scrutinize some of these reviews; it's certainly not as bad here as many people claim!

Delicious buffet. It's a bit cramped around the buffet.

The food is good, but the service is lacking. My wife ordered the No. 1 smoked herring (was definitely not big) with egg, but the egg was missing. Why don't you point it out, or offer an apology? My fish fillet was good, but they had hidden the lemon, so it only appeared when I was almost finished.

What a wonderful experience! This restaurant is highly recommended! We took the ferry to Røvig and didn't know what to expect. A beautiful, authentic place. Lunch at the buffet was simply fantastic! We were warmly welcomed by a member of staff who gave us a good table. She very kindly explained to us, as tourists, how the buffet works and shortly after brought us a small gift from the kitchen (fish to try). Then we went to the buffet... I was completely overwhelmed at first because the selection was so extensive. EVERYTHING I tried was really good! It was so good that I even stood in line a second time and tried three more things. Fantastic! The price? Yes, it may be high... but the value for money is great! Thank you for the wonderful and delicious experience!

Super shooting star with lots of shrimp and tasty dressing

Super cozy and really delicious food. However, you get cheated when you order the children's menu... 2 fish fillets with fries as an adult menu: 169kr. Which is a really good price, as it is delicious and plentiful. Children's menu - which by the way doesn't seem to have any price - 159kr... here you get 1 fish fillet with fries... that's not ok. You really feel cheated when you see the bill... too bad because the rest of their prices are fine and the food is really good. Had gotten 5 stars.
