Nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee with cake, or a lunch.

Really cozy place! But a charcuterie board for two people is far too expensive and not at all right to price at DKK 375!

The place is wonderful, beautiful and atmospheric. But the prices are WAY too high and thereby exclude a large part of the audience who would so benefit from visiting this place (Skt Hans is originally an "insane hospital", and located based on a belief that beautiful and scenic surroundings are healing for the mind).

A beautiful, poetic gem - which at times seems overwhelmed by its own success. The cafe is small and has a limited selection. I have been there several times where food or drinks are sold out. The charcuterie board for two people costs DKK 375 - it's not worth the money. The staff seems poorly organized and not trained/experienced; some are foreign/do not speak Danish. The other day there was a young girl who went around serving with tears in her eyes. Guests have to put the dirty dishes back in the basket themselves, but it ends up being a mess if they do at all. It seems as if there is a lack of an experienced/skilled manager for sourcing/purchasing, (menu) planning and personnel management. The business corridors seem impractical/"choppy" at times.

Really cozy and lovely surroundings. The food was too expensive for the price. Had ordered a piece with cheese and ham and a piece with salmon. Paid immediately. When the food had to be collected, there was no more salmon, we were told. The salmon had escaped, and we had to take a piece of salad instead. Another pair of friends had ordered the same, and theirs was for collection in 10 minutes. according to ours. And they got what they had ordered, i.e. also a piece of salmon??? Never have I seen so much salad on a cheese and ham, had to look for both cheese and ham.

We strolled from Roskilde harbor along the fjord to the Café in brilliant sunshine. A beautiful trip. The cafe is located in an area with several greenhouses that have plant sales and grapes and figs in abundance. In the garden there are beds with fruit bushes, flowers, onions etc. The area has been cultivated for almost 200 years. We came towards closing time, so several items in the Cafe were sold out. We enjoyed a good cup of coffee. There are high ceilings and lots of tables and chairs both inside and outside. Enjoy it with family and friends. We will definitely come again.

Cozy with many sensuous places, possibility to buy drinks and a little something to eat at OK prices..

Really nice place and people, excellent food. It's at least 200 kr. for lunch for an adult, though.
