In this respect, the café can easily compete with any German service station (Gusticus & Co.). So, if you're traveling south and don't fancy typical long-distance fare, you should eat here rather than at a German service station. The portions might be a bit small, but they have the advantage of ensuring the driver remains fit to drive.
