Very delicious and freshly baked bread

One of the best shawarma in Aarhus after Hos Bilal from Bazar Vest. It tastes incredibly delicious and the service is top notch

One of the best kebab roll in my life! Unfortunately I had to eat it at home so it was cooler, but still it tasted like angels sitting on your tongue. Home made flatbread right in front of you, tender juicy meat that you could taste just by the looks at it, even the next day, fast, fresh and simple. One word, delicious!!! 🤌 (You can see it in my eyes)

The perfect shawarma after a day out or as lunch!

The most phenomenal shawarma. I’ve been trying to find this flavor stateside in California with little to no luck. I once had it 3 meals in a row (dinner, post-drink, breakfast the next day). 10/10 would do it again.

I love shawarma and eat it often, maybe a little too often. So it was time to try something new, and I was extremely happy that I did it this day at Shawarmamesteren – they live up to their name and the many great reviews. The bread was freshly baked and tasted good, which is absolutely essential if you want to compete with the others here in Aarhus. Nice bread – nothing exceptional. The meat was in a different league than most places, though. I don’t know if I was extra lucky to come right when they opened, but it had a delicious roast crust, while also being slightly pink. It was ultra tender and with a wonderful flavor – definitely the star of the show! You couldn’t sense any texture from it having been frozen; it was a level above what I’ve had elsewhere. As for other fillings, there was a bit of red cabbage, lettuce and mint. I’ve never noticed mint in shawarma before. It makes it taste quite different and is possibly something that separates the waters – but it made the overall taste quite unique, and I thought it was good. The dressing was quite plain – my best bet would be that it was just plain Greek yogurt. It also allowed the meat and mint to stand out and shine better. The chili and garlic tasted like freshly pressed garlic, and the chili was fine: not too much, not too little. I give 5 stars without hesitation for this good experience. I will of course be back soon. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

WISH WE HAD ONE IN AMERICA!! My husband and I are from Los Angeles and are city-hopping through Denmark for the next 10 days. We stumbled upon this hidden GEM in Aarhus, and honestly it’s not only the best we’ve had in Denmark but maybe even in the U.S. too! 🫶🏽 The menu is simple, the people are kind, the ingredients are fresh, and the wraps are handmade to perfection. I told my husband we’re coming back tomorrow for lunch. Trust me, GO HERE!

Best roll in Aarhus! Sublime chili, dressing, fresh vegetables, and meat - which is cut to order. The only complaint is the price, which is 80 DKK per roll.

Absolutely delicious! My first choice in this city

The dud definitely knows his job ! Meat well cocked, quick service, even the bread for the shawarma are freshly cooked. The portion is huge and you have to have a solid stomach to finish the menu.
