A hidden gem in Aarhus. Now we have eaten quite a few times at Le Petit Bistro, Aarhus. We have eaten their confit duck, Beauf Bourgogne and rice alamande - it was amazing! We have tried this quite a few times in Provence, France, but this was the level above! Homemade food. Good personal service with a French host who is knowledgeable about French wine and food! We will be back here soon - highly recommended!

A French gem right in the middle of Aarhus! The owner manages to create a cosy, present and authentic feeling as soon as you walk in the door. She cooks the nicest and tastiest food, and serves wonderful wine on the side. We will definitely come again!

Here is a very special and cozy place where you feel at home, because the host is in a very special class and here you meet the open and lovely French food culture and all its coziness. With her completely unique complex dishes, you get taste experiences that are fragrant and very tasty. Try it yourself and you will miss Le P'tit Bistro on Åboulevarden.

Incredibly good food served with taste and really good service and an authentic atmosphere. Very welcoming hospitality and good help choosing wine. A peaceful and inviting oasis by the river in Aarhus.

Very Delicious quiche and salad ♥️

The bistro is cute, with lots of fun pro-wine posters. A limited but appealing menu. We aren’t big eaters so asked (in English, unfortunately our only language) if we could share the fixed 3 course menu. The hostess looked somewhat horrified but ended up saying they’d never done that but she supposed so. The French onion soup was delicious, the beef burgundy tasty and we appreciated our wine. We sat with empty plates and glasses waiting 45+ minutes for the dessert to arrive. No one came to ask if we wanted anything else, although the place was quiet. Eventually we flagged down the hostess and asked if the dessert was coming and the hostess said she’d thought we only wanted two courses. By then we just wanted to leave. Sadly we left feeling unwelcome and frustrated.

We shared both option 1 and 2 on the menu, such amazing variety and quality of food, with truly fantastic wine recommendations. What a traditional dining treat, owner Linda made us feel so welcome, old school service! Haven't been anywhere quite like this before, thoroughly recommend the cremé brulee and the quiche!

Delicious food with a wonderful variety of tapas dishes. Exceptionally friendly service. Will definitely be coming back again!

Really cozy place next to Åboulevarden, with a nice French atmosphere. Really recommendable. Five stars
