Sjovinisten Aarhus

There are a number of very good restaurants in Aarhus, and the overall standard of quality is very high. However, this restaurant is something special: a small menu, excellent cuisine, a thoroughly pleasant atmosphere, and sound-absorbing elements installed, which cannot be praised highly enough. We tried various dishes from the menu and were very impressed by all of them. What's more, the restaurant used to be a wine bar and has taken over the wine cellar. The advice on wine selection is particularly good. For wine-loving and pasta-loving guests, this is the place to go in Aarhus.

Good hip place with good staff! Worth the visit!

Nice little place with good prices and pasta. We booked a table and were warned that the seating is close together and the noise level is high. It was nice to know in advance and the noise level was not bad when we were there around 7-8pm on a Saturday.

Great that you can get a meal that tastes so good and at such reasonable prices in Aarhus, nice large portions, smiling staff and their focaccia bread was super delicious.

First visit. We had ordered for 5pm, unfortunately we arrived 15 mins late due to traffic. It was almost an empty restaurant. We were a bit put off by the waiter constantly saying that we only had the table for 75 mins. There were 6 of us and we ordered 4 different pasta dishes. They came quickly after about 15 mins. Most dishes were okay and tasted good. Unfortunately the pasta in the duck dish was not cooked enough, about every 4 pastas was almost raw. We ended up with a little over 800 kr. Which is cheap. The restaurant was almost full when we left 6 mins before our time was up. But unfortunately we won't be back. The decor is impersonal and the food needs a facelift. Which I would like to give more for. I don't think you sit too close or that the music is too loud. Which others write. Follow me for more tips about Aarhus or other places
