Good hip place with good staff! Worth the visit!

Nice little place with good prices and pasta. We booked a table and were warned that the seating is close together and the noise level is high. It was nice to know in advance and the noise level was not bad when we were there around 7-8pm on a Saturday.

Great that you can get a meal that tastes so good and at such reasonable prices in Aarhus, nice large portions, smiling staff and their focaccia bread was super delicious.

First visit. We had ordered for 5pm, unfortunately we arrived 15 mins late due to traffic. It was almost an empty restaurant. We were a bit put off by the waiter constantly saying that we only had the table for 75 mins. There were 6 of us and we ordered 4 different pasta dishes. They came quickly after about 15 mins. Most dishes were okay and tasted good. Unfortunately the pasta in the duck dish was not cooked enough, about every 4 pastas was almost raw. We ended up with a little over 800 kr. Which is cheap. The restaurant was almost full when we left 6 mins before our time was up. But unfortunately we won't be back. The decor is impersonal and the food needs a facelift. Which I would like to give more for. I don't think you sit too close or that the music is too loud. Which others write. Follow me for more tips about Aarhus or other places

The place is nicely decorated, and we were greeted by a lovely smell at the entrance. It was quite full when we arrived, and as others have mentioned, you sit close together. This also means that the sound level is very high, and it can be difficult to have a conversation in a comfortable tone. The food was according to the price; nice, and quite innocent. So if you expect a delicious and simple meal, at a manageable price, it is perfect. Their focaccia is super delicious! However, you should not expect more than that. As others have also written, there was also quite a big difference in the portions. My friend who got pasta with duck, got significantly less than me, who got the pasta with mushrooms. Their Espresso Martini is really worth the money tho!

We ate at Ugly on a weekday evening: the place was packed and the atmosphere was great in this cozy restaurant. I had a perfect Ragu’ and a lovely tiramisu. An additional plus is the extensive wine list and the friendly service.
