Lovely, delicious fish house. We got a half/half with fish frikkadelle, fish fillet and fries. The remoulade was homemade and good, the fries were good. The fish was good, but you didn't get much for the price. The service shows that it's going fast and shows that it's a fishmonger who has expanded to also serve food. It doesn't drag down, but we missed a smile on their face. It was well-attended, so the locals must think it's good :-).

Vi har længe ønsket at spise en frokost her og nu var muligheden. Flot vejr til at sidde ude ved vandet og nyde en platte med ål og en god øl. God betjening, lækker fisk - vi takker og vender gerne tilbage. Marianne

La Viva Slagelse

23/02/2026: I had the pleasure of having dinner with my wife at La Viva in Slagelse last Saturday. We both ordered a 3-course menu, and I must say that it is some of the best food I have had in a long time. La Viva is located close to the other cafes in town, but they stand out by having a fairly extensive menu. In addition, we were personally served by the owner himself, who was both polite and professional. The only small minus was that our table was right on the “transport road” from the kitchen, so there was a lot of traffic passing us. But all in all, a place we will definitely visit again!
15/02/2026: Went in with my 3 year old son, asked if they could make a half size hot cocoa, and it was no problem🙌🏻. Got a cappuccino myself which was also quite good. Super sweet service and quick service. ☺️
