Meget hyggeligt, kreativt sted. Venlig betjening. Den ene spiser fik Sol over Brande som frokostret. Han var meget tilfreds - mindelser fra barndommen , men bedre med en lækker rygeostcreme og passende stor portion. Jeg fik smørrebrød , fiskefilet - og fik lov at få et stykke surbrød stedet for rugbrød , da det kan blive lidt for tungt og meget for mig med rugbrød. . Fantastisk lækkerts stykke mad med fornyelse i form af selleriremoulade , syltede stikkelsbær og grillet citron. Rigtigt velafbalanceret og sammenhængen blev ikke for fed. Prisen for det vi fik var meget , meget rimelig. Stedet kan stærkt anbefales til en frokost, når man er i , eller passerer byen.

We chose the "sharing menu with 3 starters, main course and chocolate mousse". We thought the mousse was too hard in texture, the taste was fine, but it could be airier. Appetizers and main course were very delicious. The main course was perhaps a little small, but we were well full anyway. Good experience, nice cozy place. The sound level was just right, so we could talk together.

Resturant smagshuset in Brande must have tested their steak sandwich with sauce today. Arrived a little after 12 and was received super well and shown to our table. Ordered the food at exactly 12.00 and it was served at our place exactly at 12.21, which is fine production time for home-cooked food. The food is nicely arranged on the plate and looks appetizing and inviting, but I just have to think remove the onion rings and that there is not much sauce. (Both parts I'm right about) The bun is a delicious sesame bun, I think, and it tastes great as it should. The top and bottom of the bun are smeared with some dressing that tastes great and is too old fashioned homemade. In the steak sandwich there is a tasty onion compote which tastes really good and is finely balanced in terms of quantity. The steak is an approx. 180-200 gram bandit which is really tasty with a beautiful and delicious roast crust and is fried medium (I would have preferred to see pink but ok) The meat had to be local and from some free-range cows and I was a little surprised that the fat percentage is only 10% for the meat was really good as in fantastic. Beetroot and cucumber salad were also in a special class and you could easily taste that everything was home-pickled, the pickles here hit the spot, well done. The sauce is a brown sauce with mushrooms and herbs, it tastes quite good without being excellent and you can clearly taste the slightly sweet mushrooms, the wife thought the sauce was superb and I am a little more subdued and could perhaps wish for a slightly stronger sauce, but it is good. However, I have said in many reviews that you shouldn't skimp on the sauce, and there wasn't much here, unfortunately. The onion rings were ok, but I didn't think they should be part of the dish, and you should increase the amount of sauce. But everything is made from scratch with love, it tastes great and this steak sandwich from Resturant smagshuset belongs to the high end and at a price of DKK. 150.- it gets 5 out of 5 stars and the beautiful restaurant is definitely worth a visit and really thought people should try to taste this dish..

Vi kom tilfældigt forbi dette finurlige og hyggelige sted. Uhøjtidelig og rar stemning. Maden var enkel og meget lækker.
