Ok, so this is a place by and for coffee nerds. It's hard to beat when it comes to expertise, taste and aesthetics ☕🫶 At the same time it can be a bit intimidating - like walking into a fancy restaurant without knowing the norms and rules of the place. I felt some performance anxiety just ordering my coffee 🤣 and I've been nerding with coffee for over a decade and know a ton of great baristas around the world 🙃 in other words, don't worry about it. Just take a deep breath, get a signature espresso and a piece of cake (also awesome stuff! 🥮) and get into it!

Quite simply: it's all excellent! From signature espresso with milk to pour over. Good craftsmanship, good knowledge and a unique atmosphere. The place to go if you're an espresso enthusiast. There's nothing like it in town

You might want to consider a place other than Stiller's Coffee if you want a regular cup of filter coffee to-go with milk and sugar. I can recognize other reviewers' comments about unfriendliness, arrogance, and reluctance to change an order. For me, however, it is largely a misunderstanding of what kind of place you are actually visiting. At Stiller's Coffee, it is not necessarily always the customer who is in the center, but instead the product - the coffee itself and the process behind it. The cups served are well-thought-out and finished products created by an expert, Søren Stiller. In that light, it also makes sense that the place does not necessarily accommodate all the modifications a customer might want - not in the desire to accommodate the customer, but out of respect for the coffee and the craftsmanship behind it. You don't go to Noma and order a cheeseburger menu either. To me, Stiller's Coffee does not appear to be a traditional coffee shop, but as an experience that is all about coffee. It requires a little time, energy and curiosity. If you just want a quick to-go coffee, there are plenty of good options elsewhere.

Exceptional espresso, very good pourovers. Staff is friendly and competent. The acoustics of the place are atrociously echoy, making the place extremely noisy if the roaster is running or the bar is busy. Not being able to hear yourself think brings an otherwise very enjoyable experience down.
