Strandcafeen Faxe

Went in to eat with two friends when we stayed at Feddet Strand Resort over the weekend. We are greeted by a sweet young woman who is clearly very nervous. Our order is taken by another nice guy. Our food comes with a 3rd person, who is a bit more dumb and indifferent. I order Danish chicken breast pickled rhubarb, Danish potatoes and sauce on chicken skin. I am served two small pieces of chicken, a small blob of mash of something or other, NO potatoes and a bit of sauce and rhubarb compote. It tasted really good. However, I was by no means full. My friend had ordered a tenderloin well-done, which came raw. We tell the waiter and he seems almost offended and takes it without saying a word. They come back with a new plate of food after about 15-20 minutes when the rest of us have almost finished eating. This time it's nice, and they also bring new side dishes in the form of fries and salad and say our drink is on the house as an apology. I eat the extra fries and salad my friend gets because I'm still hungry. When we have to pay he says it's only our friend's drink that has been taken off the bill (75 kr). Overall the experience was a bit bad after this experience, the food tastes good and the place is cozy, but the waiter could be more organized in their work, and professional about wrong orders. My food cost 255 for just the main course, which is a bit annoying to leave hungry. We will not be back

Wow, Michelin-starred cuisine at a campsite... We went there without a reservation, outside of peak season. The food was excellent and the price was reasonable. We would have loved to go back again, but had to move on...

Delicious food, tender steak with delicate sauce very pleasant experience. Carrefoul staff and cosy ambient. Also Live Music experience at sunset made it all much more special. I loved the strawberry Daikiri coctail . Recomand it 100%

Food was good, service was partially great. Very quiet when we arrived. Kids options were decent. A small but decent menu. Appetizer and kids meal came out rather quickly but the main course took too long. The kids were basically done eating when they came out and asked if we were ready for the main course. At which point they started preparing it. After a long wait we got the food. Salad was good. The molten fries were ok and the gray steak didn't look to appealing. If it wasn't for the grill marks it would have looked boiled. It tasted good though, and the sauce was great. After we finished the wife and now restless kids immediately left. Whitout that causing any of the servers to think I might want to pay for the meal. At 2/3 the price or without kids, this would have been a great meal. Unfortunately almost every table in the restaurant people ate with kids.

Really good food. Drinks, wine and everything for just under 500 per person. Most people had the 3-course menu. Really good. The service's interaction with the table needs to be worked on.

Really good bistro place. Delicious food for both children and adults. Fair price - good food for the price and much better food than pizza/burger, which is typical at camping sites.

Food was great, atmosphere is also awesome, streak with Bearnaise sause is really good.

Delicious gourmet dinner - started with hand-baked bread and a wonderful sauce, then the chef's 3-course menu, beautifully presented and very tasty and inviting. We felt pampered and left feeling full and super happy. Thanks for dinner 😁😁
