An absolutely fantastic experience

A small gourmet restaurant on the 11th floor of a building in the new port area of Århus. Just a few tables, all with panoramic views. The menu features five-course set menus, which gradually increase in number. The five-course meal itself is a magnificent experience. The sommelier's wine pairings are perfect. A dinner bordering on gastronomic perfection. Impeccable service. High prices. Reservations required.

Super delicious food and a really cozy place with a good view. Not surprisingly, you don't get to pay for it.

Great food and view, good acoustics, service and wine. The wine menu is high priced, but otherwise 10/10.

Fantastic evening at Substans. Thanks for the really good food and lovely relaxed atmosphere. The hosts took a lot of time to explain everything we got and had a nice chat. Just one thing that drags us down a bit. Why do you call it a juice menu when it's more of a cold tea menu? Apart from this it was a really nice evening and a good experience, we would recommend it to others...

Sublime lunch. Food, drink and service in a beautiful combination ♥️ Many of the dishes had good acidity, so you have to have that - but without it coming over at any point. Yes A dish with issing and chili had good heat, brave serving that divided the waters at the table, personally I was a big fan :) The service was between great presence and mediation, to the perfectly discreet where two empty glasses were just grabbed without the need for words.

Comida de alto nivel en alto nivel - no tenía expectativas y se fue tan feliz y contento era la comida, maridaje de vinos y el personal muy amable orientado al servicio.

Great food and view. Super chefs

Sweet and smiling staff and informal atmosphere. Cozy little room with a nice view. And not least exceptional food - both the regular menu that my girlfriend got, and the vegetarian alternative that I got myself. Truly a fantastic taste experience. The only downside is that it is not possible to get fresh (good) beer on tap, but you have to stick to canned beer (however good from Gamma).

15 skønner serveringer på 11. sal på Ø med den fineste udsigt også til Skødshoved:-) Personalet på Substans er meget imødekommende og er uden tvivl med til at skabe en rar stemning på restauranten - Stor tak for det:-) Maden var ubeskrivelig veltillavet og sublim - En oplevelse alle skulle give sig selv:-) Eneste minus er, at man ved betalingen med kort bliver spurgt til drikkepenge, som kunde får jeg tanken: “hvad er det jeg ikke har betalt for?” Anerkender det enorme kunstneriske håndværk Substans har, men en VVS eller tømrer ville aldrig spørge mig om drikkepenge efter udført arbejde. Samt ender jeg som kunde med at gå fra en skøn oplevelse med følelse af, at være af at være en tarvelig gæst, fordi jeg takker nej til tilbuddet om at give drikkepenge …. Men “anyway” stor anbefaling til at besøge Substans:-)
