24/06/2025: If you are looking for an evening where everything comes together in one place – food, wine, atmosphere, service and price – then Det Glade Vanvid in Viborg is just the place. And yes, it lives up to its name: it is almost crazy how well it all works. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a staff that really has things under control. Smiling, professional and present without being intrusive. The service is top notch – here, the details have really been thought of, and you feel taken care of all the way through. The food? A pleasure. Tasteful, beautifully presented and coordinated to perfection. The wine matches perfectly and flows without you having to ask – and it all comes together in that way where you feel a little spoiled. And then the best part: the price. For that level of quality, wine ad libitum and the overall experience, it is almost too good to be true. You really get a lot for your money, and it feels like a luxury experience without the luxury price. The only slight downside? There were a lot of guests that night, and you were seated a bit close together. It was a bit noisy and made it difficult to have a quiet conversation. But honestly – when that's the only thing you can put your finger on, it's probably something to live with.
