So I finally got myself together to try 🍣 takeaway at Sushi Mania. It turned out to be 10 pieces. maki rolls with both crab, salmon or rice. Wasabi was good strong. The rolls were a little larger than the ones I'm used to and I was well full of 10 pieces. Definitely worth a visit. I'll be back. See my profile for more tips about Aarhus or other places

I absolutely love their concept and they are always so sweet to guide you through the pieces in the store. Would recommend it to everyone if you want to taste something a little different.

Plantorama Tilst

23/10/2025: Large Plamtorama, with a large selection, both plants and pets. There is an Espresso House on the second floor, perhaps the largest in Aarhus. There is also a playroom for the little ones.
14/10/2025: The plantorama itself is really nice. You can get a lot, including aquarium fish - which are now hard to find. But the cafe upstairs is a bit of an uphill experience. There were 4-5 employees in the store and yet there was no tidying up and cleaning - and we were almost the only customers. The whole thing also feels half like a kindergarten with a lot of guests at the other end in the rented land - but you can live with that. The toilets were REALLY dirty and it smelled quite strongly of old urine. So I will probably come back as a customer to the garden center - but not upstairs.

29/09/2025: Die Bierbar is without a doubt one of Aarhus' coolest bars! From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere hits you right in the heart — Tyrolean vibes, cold beers, great drinks, and music that makes you want to sing along and dance. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel welcome. Drinks and beer are cheaper if you come early, and even when the place is full, I think they manage to maintain good service. I love their events — bingo, beer pong, and all that mixed with hits and a German atmosphere just makes for a party you won't soon forget. And the price? Very reasonable for how much you get for your money. Are you looking for a bar where you can party, meet people, have fun, and feel like the night has only just begun — Die Bierbar really hits the spot!
