The Old Irish Pub Aarhus

31/12/2023: We were recommended this place and we certainly did not regret it. The visit made us give other small, authentic restaurants a try. The atmosphere was authentic with a small room, tight seating arrangement, dimmed lighting and candles on all tables. Light chains and small lamps with different colors decorated the ceiling and the surroundings, while a bicycle hung from the ceiling and umbrellas attached to the bicycle created a cozy atmosphere. Although some dishes were better than others, we received excellent service despite a full house and only three waiters. They were welcoming, friendly and chatty, took their time with the guests and showed interest. The restaurant created a unique atmosphere, as did the service and the fine presentations of the food. The food was generally excellent and suited the price. A small remark was that the churros were a little too much fried and were returned. Also, it would be good to mention that sorbet ice cream was served with almonds on the menu card for allergies.

02/12/2023: Amazing bar! I went there over the summer, and the service was amazing! The staff was so sweet, especially a young chef, who spoke various languages, and made our food gluten free on request. Nice bar, though pricey drinks
