One of my absolute favorite places in Aarhus. Always a good place to come, never disappointed, only that sometimes it can be hard to find a seat, but that just shows their popularity.

Went there when it was rather empty. Service was good and food was quite good as well. I had the beef stew, which was a little salty but well balanced with the mashed potatoes. Just a little dark in the pub itself, which made it difficult to see.

01/03/2025: Service and food: Really classy service and great complimenting beer with their five course menu. Atmosphere: A "sound dish" from the original barrel vault, which separates our evening from the rest of the guests.
21/12/2024: Christmas-inspired 3-course menu with top-class taste experiences and a splendid wine menu in atmospheric rooms with friendly and engaging waiters. Probably the best piece of duck I've tasted.
