Came here for a wedding. The views were amazing, the staff were helpful, and the food was incredible! Had a four course meal here for a friend's wedding, we hasn't seen the menu previously, but we shouldn't have worried. The food was incredible, every plate, even the canapés. Different wine with every dish, and was introduced by our chief waiter each time. My vegan friend was catered for, having dishes that looked very much like the others, having it's own twist on the meal.

We held our wedding at Varna, and were deeply impressed by Patrik and his team. What a party, what food and what a great team of waiters who made it all run smoothly. Many thanks from here 🙏👏👏

We had the pleasure of holding the confirmation in beautiful surroundings at the Varna Palace. The food was excellent, but the service was young and inexperienced. Four times we had to ask for more soft drinks to be refilled on the table with drinks, no red wine was served to our guests more than once, and when the waiter announced that the coffee was served, she was quickly gone, and we had to go to the kitchen to ask for milk for the coffee and tea. In addition, the waiter was also unfamiliar with the place's AV equipment, as some of our guests had to make a feature with a presentation of sound and image. We have reported all this back to Varna Palæet, and it upsets us that we have not heard a sound back.

We were six people in Varna's beautiful premises, which deserve praise for creating a nice room with good acoustics. Unfortunately, the service lagged quite a bit during the event, and it was noticeable. As we were placed at our table, we were informed that a waiter would soon come and tell us about the menu of the day as well as give us welcome bubbles. After a 15-minute wait, however, we decided to take matters into our own hands and get the drinks ourselves and get started with the buffet. The food was undoubtedly good – a three-course buffet based on the traditional Easter lunch. The first buffet, which consisted of cold dishes, was absolutely fantastic. The only thing you could complain about was the amount of food. Unfortunately, I didn't get to taste their fish fillets, as there was simply never any left in the buffet - there was only enough for the quick ones. Besides that, the food was really good, although it was a bit of a shame that you couldn't get the whole spoon into the glass of rhubarb compote. The glass was too small, which resulted in us only getting half of the otherwise delicious dessert at our table. All in all, a delicious visit to Varna - despite the shortcomings in the service.
