Vejlsøhus Hotel og Konferencecenter Silkeborg

The hotel is wonderful. It is rare to find such hotels that make you feel like you are at home. This is exactly the case. Everything is top notch.

Good base for exploring Midjylland not too far from Silkeborg centre. The room where we stayed was small but with a lovely view over woodland. Shower was fine with plenty of hot water and we welcomed the ability to make coffee in our room. Only issue was the temperature, which was way too warm and opening the window caused a banging through the night. The real jewel in this hotel's crown was the food and service. Beautifully presented, delicious food at dinner service, helpful and knowledgeable waiting staff, with a lovely ambience.

We stayed here for 3 nights in October 24 and felt very comfortable. The hotel is a bit out of the way for train travelers, but there are taxis. We had booked the overnight stay with half board and can only recommend this option. You will be really spoiled at dinner with very tasty three courses!!! The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and attractive. The location of the hotel is of course ideal for nature lovers. We would happily stay here again at any time.

Nice hotel, reasonable rooms for the price. The breakfast buffet is not flashy, but quite okay. Good parking conditions if you have a car.

Lovely posh place, fabulous 5-course menu, the accompanying wine menu was also well-chosen.
