I come to Byens Mad & Vinbar about every other week, and there is a good reason why I keep coming back. The atmosphere is absolutely fantastic. Cozy, relaxed and with attentive service that always makes you feel welcome. The staff is both competent and passionate, and they are good at recommending the right wine for the food. The food is of a really high standard, and the ingredients are clearly selected with care. If you only have to try one dish, let it be their tartare. It is without a doubt one of the best I have had. Perfectly balanced, full of flavor and beautifully presented. If you are looking for a place with good food, excellent wines and an atmosphere where you want to linger a little longer, then I can only give Byens Mad & Vinbar my warmest recommendations. It is a place that is quickly becoming a favorite, and at least it has become so for me.

Absolutely optimal for the visually impaired. Had absolutely magical food yesterday at the city's food and wine bar. Wine in a special class! and top service and staff. The only reason for a slightly lower star rating on the atmosphere is the intense lighting - which could definitely be dimmed a bit.
