It was a really good and exciting day. There were lots of people and lots of different cars and motorbikes. Nice trip with the steam locomotive.

Note: new tenants, completely different style and quality. Steak bernaise with fries from a bag is the style now. No greens. Super nice place, beautiful premises and surroundings, professional staff. Too bad there isn't more vegetarian/vegan on the menu, but I think (without asking) that you can easily get them to do it, especially if you ask well in advance/the day before.

We didn't visit the restaurant, but we took a short walk around the station and its surroundings. It's an interesting place showcasing the history of Danish railways. A big plus of our excursion was that my daughter found a huge boletus mushroom! It's a fascinating place to visit. It's a shame we didn't have time to ride the train... We hope to do that next time! I highly recommend it!

Restaurant with outdoor dining in relaxed nature. There are small cozy rooms for dining at the entrance. Waiting room at the old station, see pictures. I was on a bike ride from Silkeborg to Bryrup. Menu for dining. Nice toilet. Good prices. Same staff in the kitchen who cooks good food. Very satisfied with shooting stars.

12/10/2025: ★★★★★ – Fantastic experience from start to finish! Four Hands in Silkeborg delivers some of the best food I've had in a long time. You can tell that the attention to detail is there – in the taste, presentation and atmosphere. The dishes are creative without being pretentious, and the ingredients taste fresh and honest. The service is friendly, relaxed and at the same time professional – they really understand how to make guests feel welcome. All in all, an experience where you leave both full, happy and a little impressed. We will definitely be back

04/06/2025: Got a 3 course menu. Had two children aged 6 and 9. It was REALLY good for the price. Starter of tiger prawns in a red tomato based sauce. The kids got fries which had a delicious touch of parmesan and parsley as a garnish. The main course was Grambogård chicken with crispy skin. It is not easy to make. There was also a delicious sauce bordelaise with ramson fusion and garni a la jardinere as well as green asparagus which I think was steamed briefly or maybe just blanched. It also came with grilled corn (cut up). If I had to put a finger on the dish it would be that it was hard to see the asparagus, but that is really petty... The dessert was ice cream with strawberries. It really played everything and a huge gift from one gastronome to another. Clearly there are trained staff here. Respect for the good atmosphere, lovely food and sweet service. 5 big stars from here
