Cozy restaurant/café in an old train station. The area around is very nice to walk in. Good food and good atmosphere, especially if you get to eat in one of the old trains!

A super nice oasis in the middle of a clearing in the forest! We were 2 couples of friends, 9 people, and we ordered 5 shooting stars and 4 children's menus. We had been made aware that the chef was not available due to a shoulder injury, and that it was the wife who was in the kitchen, so we could expect a little extra waiting time. But after half an hour we asked for our order and it had not even gone through to the kitchen... the waitress apologized profusely and assured us that they would get started right away. As compensation, they would like to give us drinks free of charge. Very nice. The food was really good. Large, delicious portions. When we were finished, we were asked if everything was as it should be, and then they would like, as extra compensation, to give us an ice cream on the house bill before we had to return by train. Really good service and we could tell that they were very sorry that they had 'forgotten' our order. Thank you for the good and professional treatment. Definitely worth a visit. Very authentic and generally a good experience, both for children and adults 😊

A gem in the middle of the forest. Like stepping back in time. Had lovely coffee and cake. You can also get something to eat. A unique place worth visiting.

Vrads vetaran station and restaurant is definitely worth a visit... have only experienced tea and cake BUT peeked at other visitors' plates and uhmmm it looked good!😁 The staff is super friendly and explanatory and there are plenty of extra blankets if it's a bit chilly in the old station buildings ☺ And their train tours are a great experience!!

Cozy place with the option of dining, but also just to eat ice cream or drink a beer, while watching the fine vintage trains

It was a super cozy place. We had a buffet and the quality was good😊 It was busy, as it was Whitsun. But they kept the mood up despite the many guests. We had booked a table, as we came five. It might be a good idea when it's high season. Fun to experience the veteran track that ran here during Whitsun. We weren't there. But lots of smoke and steam and whistle😊🚂

The food was quite nice, but it took 50 minutes from when we ordered until the appetizer arrived, even though it was their spring menu we ordered.
