Delicious food and friendly service. We had a 4 course menu. We could have used more rice. We were offered that when we finished eating. Would have appreciated being informed of the option at the start of the meal. The food was delicious and adapted to Danish taste buds. Reasonable prices. The service was friendly throughout.

Cafe Viggo

13/09/2026: It is an advantage that there are options to put together your own brunch plate both in terms of dishes and quantity. The food was within the range of taste and quantity, but nothing special. The service is friendly, but inconsistent and forgetful. One person could not be contacted when a text message was to be sent to a friend. Another forgot an order, a third did the same and a fourth avoided any contact. However, we managed to get everything in the end.
10/09/2026: Great experience at Café Viggo. The burger was really good, well prepared, and the fries were good. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, perfect for sitting down and enjoying a beer. Friendly service and a great location in Aarhus. Definitely a place I’d come back to.✨️

Byens forlag og cafe

23/08/2026: This is just because I saw someone review the place with one star because they hadn't checked the closing times on a public holiday.
08/06/2026: I am an extremely cozy person who loves book cafes. This is an all time amazing one. Wonderful people behind the counter, nice and quiet, and a really nice atmosphere to work in. People dont care who sits with them, they just ask to not be disturbed. The only noises is the nice lofi-calming music inside and the cars outside which makes it even cozier. The ice coffee is amazing and the variety of options is stunning
