Restaurant Zafran, Aarhus – Excellent Indian Weekend Buffet! 🇮🇳 Visited Restaurant Zafran for their Weekend Lunch Buffet, and it was a great experience. The buffet costs 159 DKK per person, which is good value considering the variety and quality of the food. The buffet included: • Chicken Tikka • Chicken Curry • Butter Chicken • Mutton Meatballs • Vegetable Pakoras • Fries • Biryani Rice • Pasta • Fresh salads and sauces The Chicken Tikka was juicy and well-marinated, while the Butter Chicken had a rich, creamy flavor. The Mutton Meatballs were tender and flavorful. I also enjoyed the crispy vegetable pakoras. The biryani rice paired well with the curries. The restaurant has a clean, modern interior, comfortable seating, and a pleasant atmosphere for families and friends. The staff were polite, welcoming, and ensured the buffet was regularly refilled with fresh food. Pros: ✅ Great value at 159 DKK for a weekend buffet ✅ Authentic Indian flavors ✅ Good variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes ✅ Clean and cozy ambiance ✅ Friendly service Suggestion: It would be even better if there were a few more dessert options and additional vegetarian main-course dishes. Decent restaurant with a nice buffet. It had 4 appetisers, three rice options, 4 chicken dishes, 4 veg dishes, variety of salads and couple of desserts along with drinks. Taste was also good. Nice ambience.

I normally find buffets a bit bland and boring but at Zafran it is the complete opposite. The food is fresh, colorful and with lots of flavors and variety. I was so good that I had to come again the day after for a second round! It is probably one of the best buffets I have tried and I can’t believe that it is located in Denmark - what a fantastic surprise- Thank you 🙏

Afgani food. Non Afgan owner. Looks like they have good chef. Beautiful food. The Kabuli Polao was too good. You got to wear gloves while picking food (we had buffet). Only Kabuli Polao was mutton, rest many chicken dishes (I am not a veg guy and so can't comment, but I saw many veg dishes)

Highly recommend! The food was amazing, tasted authentic and homemade - so many options and nothing was bland.

If you like Indian, this will be your new favorite place ✅

The restaurant is located in Aarhus city center. It is an oriental restaurant where all dishes are made from scratch, according to authentic recipes.😋😋😋 A delicious and tasty Afghan, Turkish and Indian buffet, made exclusively with fresh ingredients 🥦🌶🫑🌽🥬🥕🫛🍄‍🟫🫜🥒🍅🧅🧄🥔 And if you are a happy vegan, you can definitely find some plant-based food too 🍃💚♻️ Everything was fine except that I found a very sharp meat bone in my food, I should have maybe told the staff, but never mind, I was lucky I didn't get it in my throat 😅🤷‍♀️ shit happens😁 Otherwise I am satisfied with everything

Amazing lunch buffet for 159 with lots of vegetarian options. loved their afgani spinach dish and freshly prepared baba ganush. the stuff is lovely, and they offer fruits for dessert! So worth the price 🙏 thank you
